Grovedale Tennis Club is a great club with an emphasis on a fun and friendly environment which is great for the whole family. Please see below to find out what we offer, our competitions and our fees.
Facilities
The club has some great facilities-
4 synthetic grass courts with lights
4 hard court tennis courts with lights
A large indoor club room with toilet, shower and kitchen facilities
A licenced bar
An outdoor undercover decked area attached to the clubhouse
A large outdoor BBQ
Competitions
We are involved and run a number of competions to suit all calsses at various skill levels from the newbies all the way to the big hitters having some members go on to compete at regional and state level.
TENNIS GEELONG JUNIOR SATURDAY PENNANT
Junior Pennant is an 18 and under competition that is played on Saturday Mornings with 2 seasons during the year. Summer Competition is played between October to March and Winter Competition is played April to August.
Standards are beginners through to section 1. Players are required to be a member of the club and also pay the season fee of $30 for each summer & winter seasons.

TENNis GeELONG SENIOR SATURDAY PENNANT
Grovedale Tennis Club is apart of Tennis Geelong Senior Competition which is held on Saturday afternoons commencing at 1.30pm.
The Senior Winter competitions run from April to August and the Summer competitions run from October to March with a long break over the Christmas period.
This competition provides a variety of formats as follows:
The traditional 3 man 3 lady team playing 9 six game tie break sets comprising three mixed doubles, three women's doubles and three men's doubles.
2 men 2 lady teams playing 6 six game tie break sets comprising four mixed doubles, one women's doubles and one men's doubles.
4 man teams playing 6 six game tie break sets comprising of six men's doubles.
Players pay $30 per season and must be a financial member of the club.

TENNIS GEELONG MIDWEEK LADIES
Grovedale Tennis Club is part of Tennis Geelong Mid Week Ladies Competition, which is played on Tuesday morning from 10.30am.
There are two seasons during the year, February through to June and July through to December with no play during school holidays.
Teams play home and away games throughout the season with home games at Grovedale Tennis Club.
The midweek competetion consists of 4 ladies playing each week where they play 3 sets, one with each of their team members.

MEN'S NIGHT COMP
Grovedale Tennis Club offers an internal mens night doubles competition that is played on Monday and Tuesday nights from 7.30pm out of Grovedale Tennis Club.
There are 2 seasons played each year, February through to June and July through to Decmeber.
The mens night competition consists of 4 players each week where you play 3 sets, one with each of your team members.

Ladies Night Comp
Grovedale Tennis Club offers an internal ladies night competition that is played on Wednesday nights from 7.00 pm out of Grovedale Tennis Club.
There are 2 seasons played each year, February through to June and July through to Decmeber.
The Ladies night competition consists of 4 graded players per team and consists of 3 sets of doubles per week

SOCIAL SENIORS 35+
Grovedale Tennis Club offers a seniors social play on a Thursday morning commencing at 930am. This where you can play tennis in a fun environment with people over 35's.
They play on Thursdays for approximately an hour and half with a morning tea organised afterwards at a local cafe.
Players are required to be a social club member of the club.

Eligible to use synthetic courts and join in non-competition play (eg. Over 35's Thursday).
Membership
Memberships are purchased through Tennis Australia's secure online portal. If you don't have one already, you will need to create a Tennis Australia account before paying your membership.
